The choice of women’s mini skirts is phenomenal since they climbed back up the ladder of popularity last season. From floral denim mini skirts in faded vintage designs and colours, to figure-hugging body con mini skirts and panel jersey skirts in naval-inspired stripes, this must-have item can be dressed up or down and when chosen carefully and worn with the right items can flatter any shape. Petite women can get away with any mini skirt and can create a casual daytime look with a pair of cute ballet pumps, gladiator sandals or brogue shoes and a bralet or asymmetric vest top.
Curvaceous women can emphasise their best assets with a body con mini skirt and longline top layered with a loose floral crop top and combined with some studded wedges for a fully on trend, comfortable and effortless daytime look. Choose a dark-coloured mini skirt with a lace overlay and bubble hem and team with a patterned top which has shoulder detail and a pair of killer stiletto heels for a touch of glamour without the need for hours of preparation. If you’re looking to incorporate a mini skirt into your working life, go for a plain, dark coloured skirt and wear it with a ruffle fronted shirt, dark tights and closed toe wedges or shoe boots and you’ll look fashionable and professional and turn heads in the wine bar after work.
